Weather Update: Tropical Storm "Gorio" Bulletin No. 11

Weather Bulletin Number ELEVEN
Tropical Cyclone Warning: Tropical Storm "GORIO"
Issued at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, 30 June 2013

Tropical Storm "GORIO" is now over West Philippine Sea after passing Lubang Island. 

Areas Having Public Storm Warning Signal

 Signal No. 1
(45-60 kph winds)

 Metro Manila
Pangasinan
Zambales
Bataan
Cavite
Batangas
Mindoro Provinces
Lubang Island

Public Storm Warning Signals elsewhere are now lowered.

Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under signals #2 & #1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 17 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Storm.

The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 5 PM today.
