First Filipino to fly into space

Among the top three contenders who was selected to be the first Filipino to fly in the space on 2014, the La Salle graduate didn't just imagine that he will be first Filipino to fly into space.

The 22-year-old psychology graduate from De La Salle University has been chosen to be the first Filipino to fly into space next year. He was Chino Roque.

A crossfit coach, will join the other 22 contestant from different countries were given the once-in-a-lifetime chance by the Florida-based Axe Apollo Space Academy to travel to space for 30 minutes on board of a Space Expedition Corporation shuttle.

Chino was among three Filipinos who joined 104 other astronaut-aspirants from 60 countries in taking a five-day course at the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida.

All aspirants were screened by their strength, stamina, and mental grit, and overall ability to cope with a zero gravity environment.

Then, Chino Roque was chosen. After this free trip on outer space, all individuals are welcome to try this once in a lifetime experience for about $95000 or which is P4Million here in the Philippines.

Too expensive? But ofcourse, it's a once in a lifetime. So if given a chance and with the resources. I'll try it! So Axe would you let me fly with it free? hahaha..

Kobe's new shoe inspired by Filipino icon "Pacman"

After that last years injury, Kobe is rumored comming back this season in the NBA. But before he reveals his existence in the playing court, Kobe unveils his new signature shoe on Wednesday (Thursday moning here in the Ph).

The new sneaker has a Filipino flavor which his pal Manny Pacquiao inspired him.

“I was with Pacquiao, watching him train and prepare for a fight, and I’m looking down and I’m looking at his boxing shoe, and I said, ‘Man that’s hmmm… I wanna do something there,” said Bryant.

Unlike before with his signature shoes, the new sneakers a hgh-top design which boxers wear during their fight. And which Manny does.

We hope to see these shoes comes to the Philippines and of course many Filipinos will love to wear these Filipino flavored touch of the new signature shoes of Kobe Bryant.

BIR Frozen the accounts of Pacquiao's

At kahit sino pwedeng gumawa noon.

"Why this lady as the head of the tax bureau in the Philippines didn't ask her counterpart in the United States for the certificate. She put the burden on Manny."

"Manny requested the certificate from the IRS and I am sure the certificate will be coming in the next week or so. But it's not Manny's fault. It's her fault." Giit ni Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum.

Ano to BIR?

Umayos kayo!

Kobe Bryant back while D Rose sits down for another season

The Los Angeles Lakers sign All Star Kobe Bryant for another 2 year extension. This is his 20th season in NBA with the Lakers franchise.

While Kobe is recovering from his Achilles tendon injury last April, he signed his contract with team owner Jim Buss and general manager Mitch Kupchak before leaving for a road trip East Coast.

Buss said Bryant wouldn't leave his only home in NBA-The Lakers. Bryant has spent more than half of his life playing for the Lakers, and if he fulfills his new contract, he will break John Stockton's record of 19 seasons with one NBA franchise with the Jazz.

On the other side, D Rose is showing that he has come back from that injury. That nightmare injury.

But as he shows his all star presence on the court again, a sad news comes out.
The team said that Rose had successful surgery Monday morning in Chicago to repair a torn medial meniscus in his right knee. He was hurt Friday night at Portland.

Yes, you read it right. Another knee was injured on the 3rd quarter during the game with Portland last Friday.

Will Rose come back this season and regain his MVP? Or Bryant be back and stole it from Lebron? All speculations, we'll see it in the stats and games.

For now, we hope to see those two fellows playing at their bests.

Roach and Ariza fight

And the Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios fight has just heated up.

On Wednesday, November 20, a scuffle broke out at the boxing gym at the Venetian after Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach and Rios' trainer Robert Garcia exchanged heated words, leading to some pushing and shoving. Other members of the camps got involved as well.

At a little past 11am, Roach walked in with Pacquiao's conditioning coach Gavin — to find Rios' camp still training. Rios had the gym reserved from 9-11am.

The fight started after Roach cussed at Garcia when he found Rios' camp still training at the gym past their reserved schedule. Garcia's camp responded with aggression — with Alex Ariza, Pacquiao's former conditioning coach who has since transferred to Rios' side — ultimately kicking Roach just below his chest.

Roach's staff then called security.

Puro lang PANGAKO, wala naman palang KWENTA. Kilos GOBYERNO!

Bago kayo mag react, GAWA muna.

"We join the nation and the rest of the world in prayer as we move in unison to get them on the road to recovery and rehabilitation." dagdag pa ni Mayor Binay.

Pinoy tayo, diyan tayo nakilala. Pinoy. Walang katulad, nag-iisa.

Pinoy ata to!!!

Pinoy ba kayo? Bago sana manghusga tanungin nyo muna ang sarili nyo kung kayo ba eh napakagaling mag ingles or should we say nakakaintindi ba ng ingles?

Go Pinays! Go Philippines, Canda and Guam!

"At its current pace, it was carrying 30 millimeters of rains per hour, which is considered “intense”.

“We still don’t expect a storm signal over Metro Manila, but the storm may still intensify.” ang maiksing sagot nito.

Romeo and Salva sa Global Port, paano kaya magkakasundo?

See their echange of thoughts on twitter? Is there anything that Global Port can do to lessen their rivalry?

Anung iniisip kaya nya?

Abangan nalang natin. Kapana panabik to.

Mamasa (pass) oh Mamasa (magkapasa-pasa) Haha. Lets see!

Nasa laro yan.

Sa huli dinagdag ni Commisioner Chito Salud na, "This crop of applicants is considered as one of the deepest ever."

"No matter what happens in your career from now, you have that sacred responsibility that you have be at your best."
