Weather Update: July 31, 2012 Typhoon "Gener"

Severe Weather Bulletin Number TWELVE
Tropical Cyclone Warning: Typhoon "GENER" (SAOLA)
Issued at 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, 31 July 2012 


Typhoon "GENER" has maintained its strength as it continues to move north northwest.

Typhoon "GENER" is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring rains and moderate to strong winds over Luzon and Visayas especially the western section.

Residents living in low lying and mountainous areas are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas under Public Storm Warning Signal #3 and #2 are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 10 - 20 mm per hour (heavy - intense) within the 700 km diameter of the Typhoon.

Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the Seaboard of Luzon and Visayas due to the combined effect of Typhoon "GENER" and the Southwest Monsoon.

The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 AM today.

Tropical Storm "GENER" has slowed down slightly as it continues to move in a North Northwest direction.

Likewise, those living in coastal areas under Public Storm Warning Signal #2 are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.

SONA: Aabangan ng karamihan
















Sa nalalapit na SONA ng Pangulong Benigno Aquino III, maraming mambabatas ang ang nagnanais marinig mula sa pangulo ang magiging solusyon at plano nito sa Pilipinas para labanan ang lumalagong kahirapan sa bansa.

Ayong kay Zambales Rep.Milagros Magsaysay, na sana ay marinig nitong mag focus sa Ekonomiya, Job Generation at sa allevation of Poverty thru Education.

Ganito rin ang nais marinig nina Ang Kasangga Party List Rep. Teodorico Haresco at Western Samar Rep. Mel Senen na nagnanais maitaas ang tiwala ng publiko sa administrasyong Aquino sa pamamagitan ng SONA.

"President Noynoy Aquino should ride on the crest of the people's new found trust in the government to spell out his leadership;s action and programs that would further strengthen their confidence in themselves as a people." giit pa ni Haresco.

Ayon naman kay Aurora Rep. Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara, gusto nitong marining mula sa SONA ang magandang balita para sa sektor ng edukasyon lalo na sa binalita ni Department of Budget and Management Sec. Florencio Abad na dagdag na mga pondo para sa mga state colleges sa bansa.

Ano man ang ihain ni Pangulong Aquino sa kanyang nalalapit na SONA ay dapat nating pagtulungang mga pilipino. Tandaan natin na hindi lamang ang Gobyerno ang makakasolusyon sa ating mga problema.

Mayroon din tayong papel na dapat gampanan upang matupad ang mga ito, gobyerno lamang ang gumagawa ng mga solusyon ngutit nasa tao pa rin ang tyansa kung magiging successful ang mga planong ito.

Abangan na lamang natin ang SONA ng Pangulong Noynoy at umasa tayo sa mga mas makabuluhang reporma sa iba't ibang sangay ng ating gobyerno.

"Dolphy Day" July 10

Isang panukalang batas ang inihain ni Easter Samar Rep. Ben Evardone na nagdedeklarang "Dolphy Day" and Hulyo 10.

Sa ilalim ng House Bill 6392, idinideklara nito na ang Hulyo 10 ng bawat taon na "Filipino Fun Day" bilang pagalala sa yumaong Comedy King.

Paliwanag ni Evardone na sa ganitong paraan lamang niya masusuklian ang lahat ng naiambag ng Hari ng Komedya.

Oras na maisabatas ito, ang lahat ng pampublikong institusyon, business, establisimyento sa pribadong sektor at inuutusang gunitain ang Hulyo 10 bilang non-working holiday.

Dolphy passed away

Ang "King of Comedy" na so Dolphy ay pumanaw na sa edad na 83 ngayong gabi 8:34pm. Mabilis na kumalat ang balitang ito sa mga social networking sites tulad ng twittet at facebook.

Samantalang sa programang "Wil time Big time" ay kinumpirma rin ito ni Willie pagkatapos makausap sa telepono si Zsa Zsa ng live sa kanyang programa.

Tubong tondo si Manong Dolphy oh Rodolfo Quizon Sr. sa totoong buhay. Pinasikat nito ang mga karakter tulad nila Pacifico Palaypay, John Puruntong, at Kevin Cosme sa "Home along d riles" na talaga namang tumatak sa ating henerasyon.



Sa aming nagiisang "Comedy King" may u rest in peace in heaven! We will miss you!

Weather Update: July 3, 2012

Weather Advisory No. 5
For: Low Pressure Area (LPA)
Issued at: 11:00 AM, 03 July 2012


At 8 a.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 60 km Northwest of Ambulong, Batangas or 50 km West Southwest of Manila (14.3°N, 120.5°E).

This weather disturbance is expected to bring scattered to widespread rains over Central and Southern Luzon including National Capital Region (NCR), and Western Visayas.

Residents living in low lying areas and along mountain slopes are advised to be on alert for possible occurrence of flashfloods and landslides.

The next update will be incorporated in the public weather forecast at 5:00 p.m. today while the next advisory will be issued at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow.

rains and flooding:

· ParaƱaque
 

CANCELLED FLIGHTS

As of 9:55 am, 03 July 2012, six (6) domestic flights were cancelled: four (4) bound from
Manila-Naga and vice versa; and two (2) bound from Manila-Busuanga and vice-versa.
