EDSA Motorcycle Lanes On February

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will start to implement those motorcycle lanes on EDSA (Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue) starting February before the Valentine's Day.

MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said that they are now implementing this because the number of motorcycle accidents at Commonewelt Avenue and Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard lowered.

The ongoing fixtures of signage's on a 24 kilometer EDSA are now on its place. EDSA starts from Monumento-Caloocan up to Roxas Boulevard Pasay City.

After they implement this on EDSA, the MMDA are looking forward to implement this also at the C5-Road.
In the data of Land Transportation Office (LTO), about 1.7 vehicles are registered in Metro Manila last year where 608,839 from it are motorcycles and tricycles.

More than 7,000 motorcycles are sold everyday all over the country.
