NCAA Season 87 Standings
















The San Beda Red Lions (14-2) takes a closer inch to the top seeded San Sebastian Stags (15-1) earlier this afternoon.

The defending champion demolish the Lyceum Pirates in a 101 - 67 final score. While the 3rd seeded Letran  Knights come up with a solution over the undefeated team in a 1 point game 82 - 81. 

The Stags taste their first defeat this NCAA Season 87.

PBA Season 37 Starts On Sunday Oct. 2, 2011
















The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will formally starts its 2011 - 2012 season on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The theme " Kampihan Na!" was formally endorsed as the 37th season of pro league starts yesterday in Diamond Hotel in Manila.

Classes Advisory: 
No classes tomorrow, Sept. 28. in PreSchool to Highschool levels in 13 barangays in Valenzuela City: Polo, Pasolo, Coloong, Balangkas, Malanday, Tagalag, Isla, Wawangpolo, Poblacion, Arkong Bato, Rincon, Mabalo, and Bisig; Malabon; Navotas; Marikina; and San Mateo, Rizal.

Valenzuela Suspends Classes Tomorrow

Flash News:

Valenzuela City declares a suspension of classes in their 13 barangays due to typhoon Pedring. 

Among of these are barangay  Polo, Balangkas, Pasolo , Caldong, Malanday, Tagalag, Isla, Wawang Polo, Poblacion, Rincon, Arkong Bato, Mabolo at Bisig.

All people near the bay are advised to evacuate their homes and stay at the evacuation areas.

Valenzuela are seeking for any help specially in food, clothes and medicine.

Public Storm Warning Signal elsewhere are now lowered.

Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under Public Storm Warning Signals are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 15 - 25 mm per hour within the 650 km diameter of the typhoon.

Typhoon Pedring is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon and will bring scattered to widespread rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas.

The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 AM today and the hourly updates.

Ateneo Blue Eagles : "Game 1 Is Ours"
















The rematch between the defending champion Ateneo Blue Eagles versus the FEU Tamaraws started  its battle earlier this afternoon.

Nico Salva scored his season's-best of 24 markers in the third period spree. Nico goes to eight-for-eight from the field and also a perfect eight-for-eight from the free throw stripe.

Gilas On Quarter Finals
















The Team Smart Gilas Pilipinas made it to the 26th FIBA-Asia Championship quarter finals after beating Japan lastly.

Gilas finished 2nd place on the Group F after having a 3-1 record. This is the 3rd of the 4th knock out matches of the Gilas in Wuhan Gymnasium later against Chinese Taipei at 6pm.

Pacquiao Should File An Official Leave of Absence



The Mexican Fighter Juan Manuel Marquez arrive at the airport yesterday to start the four-city World Press Tour of Pacquiao-Marquez III on November 12, 2011 in MGM Grand Las Vegas. 

Marquez didn't waste a time, after a couple of hours staying here he stretch and run at Rizal Park near the Manila Hotel where he will stay.
