Separation Letters For PAL Employees

More than 70% of 2,400 workers of the Philippine Air-Lines (PAL) are already received their separation letter regarding the spin off/outsourcing program of the company.

PAL said that 3 out of 4 their employees are advised personally with the spin off program where they will be forced for an early retirement in the airline services, catering ad call center reservations.

Because of the continuing increase of dengue cases in Metro Manila ,the PNP General Hospital in Camp Crame opened its services to the public yesterday.

BRP Gregorio del Pilar Warship








The newest government acquired warship, the BRP Gregorio del Pilar. This is a warship who was named after a young Filipino hero named General Gregorio del Pilar (the hero of Tirad Pass). 

 Docked at the South Harbor in Manila after sailing for 33-days from the U.S. to the Philippines. This is the country's first Hamilton class warship.

Anti Children Endangerment Law In Manila

Starting today parents will face to a penalty for those street children that will be caught on the streets begging for food and money. 

This is after the "Anti Child Endangerment Law of the City of Manila has passed the 3rd reading in council last August 11, 2011.


The Department of Health (DOH) announces that they need more nurses. They will hire 2,500 nurses this coming September to add the 10,000 employed Registered Nurse for Health Enhancement and Local Service (RN Heals).

1.4 Million Support For The Dragon Boat Warriors

House Deputy Speaker Raul Daza handed P1.4 million for the support of the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation (PDBF) who were visitors at the House of Representative yesterday.

The reward came from the own expenses of the Congress that agrees to give P5,000 each for the Dragon Warriors who gain pride and honor to our country.

Proclaimed Coco

Coco Pimentel is now officially called a Senator of The Republic of the Philippines after the proclamation yesterday by the Senate Electoral Tribunal.

The protest lasts for almost 4 years after former Senator Zubiri resigns from his place as a Senator to probably maintain his clean conscience to the allegation of witnesses that claims to have a cheating  arrangement that happen last 2004 and 2007 election.

Senate Resolution 547 For Dragon Warriors

Even the Senate admires how the Dragon Warriors that give credits to our country. With this, Senator Francis Pangilinan submits a resolution to honor the Philippine Dragon Boat Team that takes a five (5) gold and two (2) silver medals in the 10th International Dragon Boat Racing Championship in Tampa Florida.

Billborad Guidelines

Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Francis Tolentino already signed the three (3) implementing guidelines yesterday to control the billboards and advertising sign in Metro Manila.

The first guidelines is for the issuance of the structural ad locational clearances for the billboard operators. It says that the local government unit will issue this by the Office of the Mayor while the MMDA will be the one to implement the National Building Code in major and national roads in their jurisdiction.

The past few days have been very disheartening for me and my family. As you know I have been a subject of a viral video that showed my helplessness during a trying moment. As it stands right now, I have several hate pages in Facebook and Twitter with hurtful and derogatory messages attacking my person. The reputation that I built the past years has been besmirched. A bad day has now turned into wounded feelings and sleepless nights for me and my family.

I have been silent the past few days as I want this to go away soon but not before saying sorry and thank you to people who matter.

NO MORE : "No Permit, No Exam"

"No Permit-No-Exam" policy is a No-No today in a tertiary schools and technical vocational schools. 

The proposal was approved in the final hearing at the Congress which suggests for a No-No for schools with a policy of No Permit No Exam.

The agreement of TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) and the Three (3) major bus companies namely  Genesis Transport, Saulog Transit and Dagupan Bus Company is now formally set to require all their drivers to be formally trained and be certified by TESDA.

Sen. Legarda: "Total Plastic Ban"

Flood is the main problem when rainy days are coming not only in Metro Manila but in all regions in the country.  And with this, Sen. Legarda again reiterating the enforcement of the "total ban" of using plastic bags all over the country.

Legarda said that one of the main reason that flood cause too much problem is because of the unclogged drainage. The unclogged drainage is caused by non other than "the plastic".
