"Lolong" World's Largest Salt Water Crocodile

Australian crocodile expert Dr. Adam Britton led the team that measured the giant crocodile in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur.

Measuring the gigantic Lolong was like measuring a dinosaur, 21 feet and 1 inch for it's official length. The current holder of the-biggest-saltwater-crocodile title measures only 18 feet and is in Australia.

Britton will recommend to Guinness World Records the recognition of Lolong as the world’s biggest saltwater crocodile. And Guinness representatives will no longer fly to the Philippines to measure Lolong and will depend instead on the results of Britton’s measurement.

If Lolong will be named as the longest one, then it drive tourism to Agusan Marsh where it was captured last September 3, 2011.
