MMDA : Submitted a Motion for Reconsideration

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will ratify their anti smoking campaign in Metro Manila after submitting Motion of Reconsideration in the court.

This is because of the complainant who admits that they were used by a cigarette company to file a case against the MMDA.

Last Tuesday, the Regional Trial Court of Mandaluyong releases a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the MMDA to stop their campaign against smokers in the public places in Metro Manila.

The MMDA believes that their Motion will be reconsider against that TRO.

"The complainants and the actions are planted by some businessman who interests most." MMDA Chairman  Tolentino said.

Meanwhile, reports says that the complainant confessed that he was a worker before in the cigar company who paid the P100,000 bond in the court and promises to pay for him after the complain.
