NBI : Caught 38 Foreign Hackers

About 38 foreign hackers was caught yesterday on a raid in Paranaque City by the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation).
Holding a search warrant issued by Paranaque Regional Trial Court Judge Jaime Guray, the NBI penetrates #421 Orbit St, Aeropark Don Bosco Better Living Subdivision and Lot 1 Block 5 Galatia St., Multinational Village around 4:00 yesterday.

On the report released by NBI-Technical Investigation Division (NBI-TID) Head Agent Atty. Palmer Mallari, the group that was arrested in the operation is like a call center set up. 

The raid was a follow-up operation last December which leads to the captivity of the notorious suspects. Mallari objects to name the suspects identity for now because they are still confirming where these people came from. 

Marking the suspects last December, the NBI uncovers the Chinese Telecommunication who are internet and credit card fraud syndicate that earns about P6 Billion in just 6 months of operation here in Philippines in their 8 safe houses in Metro Manila.

Computer parts, phone adaptors and other information technology devices where confiscated on the operation.

The suspects will face Republic Act 8484 which is an act of regulating the issuance and use of access devices and prohibiting their fraudulent use.
