Typhoon "Falcon" (Meari) Update As of 9:00PM

The La Mesa Dam has reached its spilling level that's why areas that are near the Tulyahan river are advised to evacuate immediately. Areas from Bulacan and CaMaNaVa are mostly that will be affected.

The areas having public storm signal no. 1 are Calayan, Babuyan Group of Islands and Batanes Group of Islands having the winds of 45-60kph.

At 4:00 p.m. today, Tropical Storm "FALCON" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 320 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (22.2°N, 124.9°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 22 kph.

Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under signal # 1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides.

Three more dams are being watched as it maybe hit its critical level this evening if the rain continue.
